We are a veteran family working for a cause in honor of our oldest child who was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2010. Since then we have worked with a mission to spread Awareness, Acceptance, and Education for Epilepsy patients everywhere. In partnership with the South Carolina Advocates for Epilepsy we proudly donate 10% to Epilepsy Support.

As candle lovers ourselves, we never considered candles or scents could have potential risk factors. In 2014 we discovered that pure paraffin candles and certain scents are not only harmful to many people, but can also cause seizures in Epilepsy patients. In this knowledge Purple Rose Candle was born. With a desire to create a safe and natural candle that our own family could enjoy, we developed our recipes to be eco-friendly, chemical free, and safe for the whole family.
